Santa’s Little Helper (Christmas Bedtime Stories for Kids)

In the quiet town, snowflakes lightly fall. Though the road to town is not well-travelled, a special visitor is to appear.
It is Daniel’s first Christmas and he eagerly awaits him. Who is Santa Claus? Daniel wants to find out and see for himself!
When his parents are fast asleep, the sound of a Christmas carol makes him stir. His eyes slowly open, and the rumbling singing halts not. He must be here!
Running to the living room, his joyful gaze of anticipation meets that of the one and only Santa Claus, and does he have a job for Daniel!
This year, a Christmas wish is made come true! Being Santa’s little helper, Daniel finds out this is the season of love, joy, and giving!

This was a beautiful children’s book about the magic of Christmas. My little niece really enjoyed it and it helped her to understand what this holiday is really about: giving and caring!

This story is the best, the story of Daniel who’s delight to see Santa on Christmas eve kept him awake for the whole night, eventually he fell asleep in the process, but to his surprise he woke up to find out a lovely surprise from Santa… it is great story to read to children during Christmas because it will teach them some certain belief about Christmas. Sometimes, children get caught up in the receiving part of Christmas more than the giving part of Christmas. This story helps to teach children how important giving is as part of the Christmas culture. The illustrations are bright and colorful. Personally, and easy to read. It is a great book to read.

‘Santa’s Little Helper’ is a short Christmas story about a young boy, Daniel, who on Christmas Eve, is asked by Santa to join him and help to deliver gifts and toys to children. Fitting for younger children, the book is both easy to follow and has some lovely illustrations and pictures that almost tell the story without the need for the words themselves. The message delivered by the story is evocative and meaningful; the boy in the book, Daniel has a purpose, as does every child and I think for the author to successfully covey that in such a short and uncomplicated manner calls for praise.

Today I had the distinct honor of meeting the author or Santa’s Little Helper, Ronald Destra. After I got home and gave the book to my six year old grandson Parker. We read it together and wow…we both found it to be so motivating and relaxing. Parker loved reading about Santa. Love the book and highly recommend it.
